Last month I attended Mediatel’s Year Ahead meeting, at which the invited audience was able to grill a panel of luminaries including BBC News’s media correspondent Torin Douglas, Newsline columnist Raymond Snoddy, and IPA president, Nicola Mendelsohn. The meeting was held under ‘Chatham House Rules’. This is a phrase I only became aware of last year, but a more modern version would be ‘What happens at Fight Club stays at Fight Club’. Hence no write up as such, but here is a short video of predictions shot at the event in which I fleetingly appear, talking as ever about good and bad ‘data’
