Here’s my October column for Mediatel Newsline which speculates as to the reasons why – according to Mediatel’s Connected Screens tracker – 40% of UK broadband users have an ad blocker installed on their PC/laptop.
Arguably it is more than informed speculation as I too have an adblocker on my Mac, so – perhaps controversially for a media commentator – I explain why I felt forced to do this.
