Newspapers, magazines, the NRS and the ‘death’ of print…..

MachMy July column for Mediatel’s Newsline comes hot on the heels of the announcement that the newspaper industry is serving notice on NRS, the industry readership survey. The implication is a split from the magazine industry, but as the column discusses, there is a lot going on, particularly with regard to the fact that for magazines at least, print isn’t inevitably dying.
